Run for the 2026-2027 Board ~ Your voice helps shape the future of our community

Run for the 2026-2027 Board ~ Your voice helps shape the future of our community

It’s time to get involved and become a voice for your community.

Your homeowners association board helps shape the future of our neighborhood, and we encourage anyone who is interested to run for a position on the 2026-2027 Board.

How we work
The Board meets once a month for about an hour and a half. There are no chiefs. We work as a team to hear the concerns of our community and do our best to find a common resolution for each one.

Who serves on the Board
The Board is made up of up to 10 volunteer homeowners: 4 Directors and 6 At-Large members. Over the years, we have represented the community with only 5-7 volunteers. Today we are hoping to expand our efforts by inviting more neighbors from the Estates to serve, so that every part of our community has a voice at the table.

How to get on the ballot

Nominate a neighbor, or yourself.

Any current member may nominate another member. Before you submit a name, please check that your neighbor is willing to run. Self-nominations are welcome too

Share your story.

Every candidate writes a short Candidate Statement of up to 250 words. Think of it as a friendly introduction to your neighbors. Tell us who you are, how long you’ve called the Estates home, and what you’d love to help build or protect here. It doesn’t need to be polished or formal. A few honest, heartfelt sentences are exactly what your neighbors want to read, and it’s often the moment people realize they have more to offer than they thought.

Candidate Statements are due Sunday, November 8, by 7:00 PM.  Send yours to Kristina.oneil88@yahoo.com.

The annual election will be held on Sunday, November 15, 2026.
