The Hollywood Hills, with its narrow canyon roads and dense brush, faces unique evacuation challenges that make readiness even more critical.

Join the Hollywood Hills Fire Safe Council, LAFD Station 76, Battalion 5 and CERT for a FREE, hands-on Disaster Preparedness Workshop on Sunday, October 18, 2026, 12–4 PM at the Arrowhead Drive Cul-de-Sac. Learn CPR, Stop the Bleed, fire extinguisher use, utility shut-off, go-bag essentials, and home resilience,  plus hear from home resilience experts and watch a special screening of The Paradise Fire, a powerful documentary about the devastating Paradise Fire, and the lessons we can apply here in the Hollywood Hills.

Whether it’s knowing how to shut off your gas line, packing a go-bag that actually has what you need, understanding evacuation routes before you’re forced to use them, or learning basic first aid for a medical emergency, this workshop turns overwhelming “WHAT IF” scenarios into manageable action steps.

You don’t need to be an expert to walk away prepared, you just need to show up. Join your neighbors, meet local first responders, and leave with real tools and a real plan.
