LHHA Preferential Parking District (PPD) Update

We’re excited to share some great news: the expansion of LHHA’s PPD was officially approved by City Council on September 3, 2025!

Following this approval, LADOT has submitted work orders for the new parking signs. While the signs are currently pending production due to staffing shortages at the City’s sign shop, installation will move forward as soon as they are available.

Once the signs are ready, LADOT will issue a Residential Notice with installation dates and instructions on how and where to purchase permits. Because a large number of streets are included in this expansion, LADOT may roll out installations in phases to avoid overwhelming field crews.
